Ice skating is an activity which cannot be missing in any ski resort. An ideal way to enjoy for both children and adults. When the winter comes, the Lake of St. Moritz freezes and turns into a huge natural ice rink (0.78 km²). The ice climbing is an extreme activity only suitable for the most adventurous. In Engadine there is an artificially maintained ice wall, with a length of 100 metres and inclination between 70 and 100 degrees. It is known as Corn da Diavolezza. Every year an event is held where 25 European teams compete with each other to be the fastest at conquering the impressive Corn da Diavolezza.
